As from 2010, the three children of Raymond Boulard have chosen to pursue their own professional careers. One third of which, has become “ Champagne Francis Boulard ”
His daughter Delphine, who has worked alongside him since 2003, and is completely at ease in the vineyards, as well as in the Winery, will assist Francis in this venture.
The House’s deep convictions remain unchanged: The orientation of the “new house” will be resolutely turned towards bio-dynamics /organics and natural Champagne wines. This direction has already been in place for several years, and a great part of the vineyards have already been certified as being “organic agriculture” (certification Ecocert.) The principal goal now, is to have this certification, over the entire Francis Boulard domain.
A new name, to go ever and further forward.
Francis Boulard has kept the cuvees (vintages) already produced:
Petraea and Les Rachais. As before several vintages are on offer, in Extra Brut (dosage less than 6g/l) and in Brut (dosage zero)
Start of commercialisation and marketing planned for the end of May 2010.
